I am I allergic to bananas?

• Every time I eat bananas, I get this weird feeling in my throat and its like an itch that I can't scratch, but I thought nothing of it because I was little. Then two days ago, I ate a banana and half way through eating it, I got these bumps or hives on my tongue and it started to swell a little bit and once again my throat started itching again. Am I allergic to bananas or is this just an allergic reaction.

  That does sound very much like an anaphylactic reaction. If it only happens when you eat bananas, it's more likely than not that it's caused by the bananas. Swelling of the tongue and throat is not something you should just ignore - it can get worse with repeated exposure. I would recommend going to an allergist as soon as possible to express your concern. AVOID BANANAS COMPLETELY until you can do this!
