Am i allergic to ants?

ok when i use to get bit by aunts it would just hurt a lil but not enough for em to pay any attition to it. but with my old job i was always walking and getting bit by ants and now every time i get bit by a ant it burns and stings really bad as they are biting me. and then the feeling lasts for at least 2 min after they bit me. then after about 3 days a bump will appear and it wont just be one bump it will be like 2 or 3 and it will itch really bad?

you very well may be allergic to the chemicals secreted by an ant when it bites you, especially if these are different species of ants than you were used to.
