Anyone use the Neti Pot?

  • Has anyone used the Neti (or Nedi) Pot? How does it work? Does it hurt your nose/mouth? I have allergies and my nose is always stuffy, I get sore throats a lot, and I have that drip in the back of my throat sometimes. Should I use it?

I have used it before. It's interesting. You have to make sure you don't breathe at all while you're doing it or you will choke. You need to have a steady hand. Also if both sides of your nose are completely stuffed, it will drain into your throat and make you choke. You should blow your nose as good as you can before doing it.
