Am I allergic to my dog?

Anyway to get a dog even though I'm allergic to them?

• I had an allergy test and I found out that I was allergic to dog dander. I also have asthma so that could trigger that. I have class 2 to the dog dander. Whenever I go over to my friend's house (they have a Goldendoodle), I get itchy and start sneezing and feeling really sick. Is there any dog that I could get even though I'm allergic to them without taking medicine everyday?? Or could I get a cat? Would I be allergic to them too? And I really won't want to give the animal away because I'm allergic to it. P.S I couldn't take the allergy shots because I really hate shots.

  you can be allergic to dogs but not allergic to cats. they should have tested you for both. and yes there are dogs that have less dander and shed less than other dogs but i dont know how sentative you are. there is always the option of hairless cats. haha they look kinda weird but i think they can still be cute, i heard theyre sooooo hot when they lay by you too.
