Allergic Reaction After Gallbladder surgery?

• So I had gallbladder surgery about a few months ago it was beginning to middle of August. And my doctor said it was more than likely an allergic reaction to morphine, is it normal allergic reaction. Here's what happened. After surgery I started breathing really hard then would go unconcious (happened twice) then the next night I did the same thing and I wouldn't wake up (to the point of going to ICU) I finally woke up when the dr was testing my reflexes. My birthmother had an allergic reaction to morphine. They at first thought it was sleep apnea I got a sleep test done, everything was fine...I haven't done it since. but am thinking of getting a second opinion is this dr right? I'm not allergic to anything so I don't know what you have and don't have when you have an allergic reaction to morphine.
