Being allergic to certain earrings?

  • so i got my earrings pierced last december and i haven't changed my earrings yet..my mom is allergic to some metals or something so like she can only wearing earrings that are like diamonds and stuff like that...i keep wanting to buy new earrings but my mom said i might be allergic to them ike her..do you hthink i would? it sucks cause i wanna buy and wear other earrings :/

    I'm allergic to anything that isn't silver or gold. Try silver because it isn't that expensive I would say don't buy from cheap shops because some of the metals can react with you. There are loads of cheap silver ones xxx

Just because your mom is allergic does not mean you will be. You just have to buy yourself some regular earrings and try them and see if your ears are OK or if they get hot and red and feel irritated. I can only wear 14K gold earrings. Any others make my ears hot, red and irritated. It is because of nickel. Some people are allergic to nickel which they put in a lot of earrings that are not 14K gold.
