Why do my eyes keep stinging and watering?

i dont know why, but every now and then my eyes start stinging and watering for about 2 seconds, but then it just goes away. but about 10 minutes later, they start up again. this started yesturday ever since i helped my mum chop onions, so i dont know if that's got anything to do with it. its really annoying. whats wrong with me? i could be many things. i forgot to take my make up off last night which didnt help, and my mum brought this really strong air freshener too which also doesnt help. i just posted it up on here because i thought it would've been pointless to go to the doctors.

It sounds like you have just been exposed to a lot of things that are irritating your eyes. You might have allergies as well. Try taking an antihistamine (such as Benadryl) and see if it helps. You could also get some lubricant eye drops that might help to soothe your itchy eyes. Also try to stay away from the onions, makeup, and air freshener for a while.
