Why is my throat red and dry?

Why does my throat feel dry?

  • My throat feels really dry and I don't know why. I looked it up and all I found was this, "Gargle hot salt water (it has to go down in your throat and tonsils to be effective) BUT do not swallow it or it will make you puke! This may be tonsillitis's. The salt should rub against your tonsils and throat getting rid of most bacteria and the hot water should get rid of the bacteria too". But the problem is that I don't have tonsils O_o. So how can I get my throat to stop feeling this way. I drank somethings "Orange Juice And Water" but it didn't do nothing. Hm, I wonder could it just be allergies?

  • Answer:

it can be one of the symptoms for soar throat..breathing through the mouth or smoking can produce throat dryness..

I would highly suspect allergies. Peanut butter is one of the main causes of this, sometimes glutens in bread or pasta, and other nuts of course.
