Do latex gloves cause hand allergic reaction?

I want to find out if im allergic to latex? HELP!?

• ok so i was in auto shop and my group was using this sealant to prevent leakage out of the engine, we did'nt use gloves because my teachers says its safe, but when i got home these red dots were all over my hand? when i showed my mom is said, "oh yea i forgot to tell you that your allergic to latex???" :O :P!!! and she said when i was a kid i touch latex gloves and i had a allergic reaction. but it doesnt seem possible since i have used latex gloves to pick up trash. you can tell where this is going latex comdoms! i want to find out for myself if im allergic to latex! how do i find if i am or not?

  Latex allergy is a potentially life threatening allergy so don't go get a glove and put it on. Do get a latex test from the doctor, latex RAST blood test, to confirm or rule out allergy. Then you will know.
