Why does my nose constantly itch?

Let me explain a little. Cats - I am allergic to cats. I do own a cat. I just take some Claritan and I'm fine, but my nose itch doesn't go away. Seasonal allergies - I have these too. Again I take Claritan and they go away but not the nose itch. Nose hairs - My nose hairs are not long. They're short and they don't stick out of my nose. Now, I'll be more specific. It's inside my nose and normally toward the tip or around the nostrils but in a little farther. Also it's year round. Not just seasonal. Also before I had a cat I had the same issue. I wouldn't be around people who had cats or were around cats and yet my nose itches always. This is really bothersome because i am constantly rubbing my nose or trying to scratch the inside and people ask if I'm doing drugs! I'm not! So if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU! :)
Answer:

Maybe the Claritin isn't working as well as it used to. After a while, you can build resistance to medication.
