Am i allergic to pineapple?

  • every time time i eat a fresh pineapple i get itchy around my mouth,then i get a rash am i allergic to pineapple?

    I am allergic to all fruits and I bet you are allergic to the pineapple.Do not eat anymore pineapple till you can talk to an allergist,this can be very dangerous since you get itchy around your mouth and get a rash.Please see an allergist immediately if you want to continue eating the pineapple.

Sounds like you might be. I can't eat it either, every female in my family is allergic. At least it's an easy one to avoid. Watch out for juices with pineapple in them too. I drank some on accident and reacted to it (it was mixed in with other juices).

yup you are, i am allergic to it too!! sux cause i love it, my dr told me pineapple is one of the leading fruits people are allergic to/become allergic to, along with other tropical fruits and strawberries!!!!! sux =(

Sounds like it. A person can be allergic to anything. The reactions can get worse with each exposure to the substance. Avoid pineapple in the future.
