What is a good air purifier? Had 3 ionic pros and they all died in a year?

• I just want to know whats a better, longer lasting purifier I can get. I really liked it and I have asthma so they make it alot easier to breathe but I just don' t want one that'll die in a year, especially since the ionic pros were over a $100 a piece. Please give me suggestions. Thank you
