How do I get rid of post-nasal drip?

How can i get rid of/prevent post nasal drip?

  • every year right around winter time i get post nasal drip that turns into a fever and thee runny nose and the coughing and achyness. this seems to happen to me twice every year nov-feb time. last night i think i just hit my first round of this crap. is there anyway i can prevent orget rid of this all together? i heard it might be the cause of allergies which is something i do get seasonal allergies. I live in upstate new york so im sure the changing weather and temperatures play a role in it. my concern is that i know it will hit me a second time and i really really can't get it when i leave for boot camp feb. 15.
