Peanut allergies- why so common now ?
-
why are peanut allergies so much more common now than 25 or 35 years ago ? 1 theory i have heard is that vegitarian ( heavy peanut consumers ) mothers in the 60's & 70's may have caused a type of intolerance to their unborn children, therefore causing this reaction . could this be true ? other specialists admit they don't know why it is so much more common. any ideas /theories ?
