How do i know if im allergic to it?

  • hi- um i don't know how to start so ill just start at the way beginning. okay so i have two puppys and hey are always playing or outside and truely; they STINK. so i had to give them a bath. well it's almost winter here so i decided to give them a bath in the bath tub. but we never used the bathtub in a long long LONG time. so i had to clean it out.so i do. then i give them a bath. but at the end of the second dogs bath, (i washed them seperatly), i was feeling woozy. i dried her off. then i threw up. just right after she was done.(don't worry it was in the toliet.) okay so tht was yesterday, black friday, so my whole family was out. i thought i must of ate something on thanksgiving or something. so i didnt worry about it. when they got home we hung up new pictures then we watch Zohan(i already saw it before) well anyway just before the movie, my hands started itching. so i put lotion on. last night it started burning and itching. but now, they are swollen. i know it's an allerghic reaction but i dont know what from. and i don't know if it is for sure an allergic reaction. i feel sick, my throat has been killing me... etc!! what do you think it could be? these are my theries- *new picture frames *dog soap(even though i have been using it for years on my other dogs who passed away) *my mom thinks it with thethings i eat but i haven't eaten anything new! * the bathtub(like i said; we never used it since i was like 7) im 13 1/2

    Its definatly not the picture frames or the film, its not the soap i think its the dogs they have picked maybe a disease or something when they were playing outside and has gone on you, check it out with the doctors.

It could be mold or bacteria in the bathtub. Some molds cause very serious allergic reactions, and you can't even see them. Some are not so serious though, but it's a good idea to go to the doctor just to be safe.

It could also be something to do with what u used to clean the bathtub. Loads of people are allergic to cleaners and dont even know it. Not to mention maybe the fumes from the cleaner made u sick because that happens to me sometimes when I use bleach to clean!!

okayt, that is really bad (no offense) but u need to see a doctor. I'm not saying this like, go to the hospital er anything, i'm just saying, get a checkup. they might be able to give u suggestions on experiments. If not, then just go around the bathtub alone and see what happens. If nothing happens, then try being around the dogs and see what happens. If something happened, and u had dogs previously, it maybe just that breed. And is nothing happens with that dog, assume it was the thanksgiving food. good luck!!!! :)

you could be allergic to the cleaner that you cleaned the bathtub with. Also, you could have gotten a disease that the dogs have picked up outside. But, Im leaning towards the first theory. Only because when I was like 2, I was allergic to almost every cleaner that the people used in the restraunts. So, whenever I sat in a baby chair and rested my arms down on the table, I broke out in hives, so my mom had to reclean it whwnever we came to a restraunt. So there you go. Good Luck!
