Hi, do you know exactly what you are allergic to? If not, you should probably be tested. You should avoid everything that causes you a problem as much as possible - food, makeup and perfumes should be easier than environmental to avoid completely. I found the best thing was to boost my immunity however possible (stay healthy, eat right (eat safe), exercise, get sleep) and carefully avoid all the foods and beauty products that make me itchy or have any reactions. Your doctor can prescribe regular allergy medication for you to help with remaining symptoms, either OTC or prescription, but allergy medications can lose efficacy over time (they did for me). Try to limit your use of them if you can tolerate some minor symptoms, so that they have an effect when you need them most :) Best wishes to you.

I know that eating locally grown honey can help with your seasonal allergies.

Oral antihistamines (which you can buy without a prescription) will help with the seasonal and plant pollen allergies; if you take these and still have problems with a stuffy or runny nose or postnasal drainage, add (or take a combination pill) a decongestant. The other items, such as food and topical items, can be managed by avoidance. Another option is to take allergy shots; I was on these for 10 years. They were slow to help but they did eventually; I only quit them because I was tired of the injections. To take these injections you will have to be involved with an allergist (I'm guessing that's who your doctor is, not a general practitioner or other specialist); you must see a doctor who specializes in allergies to get the proper help. If you food allergies are severe they could cause anaphylactic shock and death; people with this strong an allergy usually carry an EpiPen with them - your allergist will determine if you need this.

I too suffer from many allergies and I watch my diet very carefully. I can only use two marketed make up companies and have been taking Benadryl for the nasty flare ups. Once you take care of the food allergies, it makes it easier to deal with the rest of them. I do not use perfumes made in the US, I do not drink wine produced in the US, and I cook all our food from scratch because of my allergies from artificial colorings, flavoring, sweeteners and preservatives. It is challenging but worthwhle.

By avoiding everything your allergic to. I am allergic to Milk, perfumes with strong smells, Banana's, alot of things. I avoid all of 'em. The doctor said - a specialist in this thing - said if I continued eating them, I might end up having Asthma. Figure out what your allergic to and avoid them. I am much better now, than I was then sinply by avoiding things I'm allergic to. x

Yikes! It sounds like you have a pretty bad case, and it must be so hard to avoid all those things that you are allergic to. When you mention medicine though, do you also mean shots? Because I know some people who have severe allergies such as you have to be given injections to keep it under control. Have those doctors tried that???

I am so very allergic to basically everything so I know how you feel but unfortunately there isn't much you can do for it but you can take claratin and over the counter allergy medicines. I hope you feel better! I hope this helped!

My sister was the same as you, she couldn't eat eggs, tomato, cherrys and she was so allergic to summer, and fall, the doctor gave her a pill called 'LORATADIN', trust me, it's like a miracule, because she's totally fine now
