Im new to ebay..can i have your help please?

Im not allergic to dogs yet every time im around my new puppy i have trouble breathing. Please Help.?

  • I am 21 years old I grew up with pugs, shitzus and golden retrievers and never had any problems. I just recently got a beagle and every time i play with him for more then a half hour i develop problems breathing. I went to an allergist and she tested me and im not allergic to anything (including dogs and cats), yet still when im around him i cant take deep breaths and my chest starts to hurt. Its becoming really bad and im worried. What could be the problem and what can i do to solve it?

    Our household always has trouble with a new kitten or puppy. I don't know if there is something in their saliva, urine, that they haven't learned good cleaning skills or what? We make sure to wipe the fur down with a baby wipe (or you can get specialized ones at the pet store). Make sure to wash your hands after touching the animal. You may even want to get an old shirt to cover your clothes while visiting with the puppy. I have to take a few allergy pills during that time. After a few weeks it goes away for our household.

You can give away the puppy, or, you can find another doctor. You need an inhaler. You are allergic to something having to do with the puppy, and it doesn't matter what you're allergic to. The fact is that you can't breathe. Go to a doctor who will give you one. You may even need the medicine that calms the inflammation in the bronchial passages. TX Mom

Maybe you are allergic to this particular breed of dogs. Why don't you stay away from dogs or try to get another dog and see if you have the same reaction?

My daughter can tolerate some breeds but labs, retrievers and such give her breathing and skin problems. We did allergy testing too but nothing showed up not even nuts which well, she's had anaphylactic reactions so I wouldn't put a lot of faith into those tests.
