How can I fake a really convincing allergy?

How can I get rid of my allergy symptoms?

• I live in MI we had like 50 degree weather a week ago in the middle of winter and now there is a foot of snow on the ground. I have went to the doc in the past and has said just take claritin and a prescription nasal spray. I have been doing both for almost a week. This happens to me fairly randomly. Sometimes mid summer, sometime when the seasons change, sometime mid winter, I don't get it. With that being said I get hit hard and I just find it hard to believe that i'm going to have to take like 2 claritin D 24 hours a day to be symptom free until i get over this allergy. Also, I know this is allergies, happens to me a few times a year. Sometimes once, sometimes twice, sometimes more. The last time I had problems was last start of May, if i remember correctly, so it passed the summer and fall with no problems. 1) How can one day of weather change effect my allergies for so long after the weather changed back? 2) Why does Claritin not seems to do anything for my symptoms, but Claritin D does? I keep reading how people take one claritin and are symptom free for the day. 3) Do different allergy meds work better for a different season? ex. does claritin work better in the fall and zyrtec in the spring 4)The odd thing is that once i get over the allergy its normally gone for months, with no meds in that time frame. If i was allergic to something in the summer shouldn't I have symptoms the whole summer and have to take meds straight through? Or does one become immune to those particular allergies?
