How to get rid of an ear infection/congestion?

  • About 2 months ago I had an ear ache for 2 days it went away but I had congestion/ringing in my ear (wasn't able to hear out of my right ear) so I went to the doctor (ER) they told me I had an ear infection they put me on antibiotics it went away for a couple days and got another ear infection in the same ear went to another doctor got more antibiotics and after a couple weeks it went away but the ringing hasn't went away yet. Currently I am sinus congestion problems and it feels like my ear is congested but I can still hear fine out of it. I've been taking Sudafed which seems to get rid of it but when I wake up I still have congestion. I've always had allergies but it's never caused me ear congestion, what can I do to get rid of it?

    i had the same thing and they put me on antibiotics for a sinus infection. i play waterpolo and i wasn't allowed to play for 3 weeks because the water disrupts your ear and clogs your sinuses, so basically don't go in water and keep taking antibiotics
