Answer:
Firstly there are many treatments for immediately after being stung. Peeing on it is a myth, best is to rub sand on it which removes the tiny barbs it leaves in your skin then pour white vinegar on it. But for you its too late, it seems you've had a late reaction. This could be because the stinger is still in there and you've had a bad reaction to it. Then again I'm not a doctor and I'm sure nobody else here is. You should go see one

Some toxins can hide in tissue and reappear later. Although there is no way of knowing if that is what is happening to you. Go to a doctor.

You should see a doctor. What probably happened is that the sting didn't heal properly and got infected. The infection can show up days later or months later. Don't ignore this, it could get worse.

First, why were you swimming in galveston. Its like liquid ****. Anyway pee on it and itll sting for a minute then the swelling will go down and it wont itch.

it's a Portuguese Man O' War jellyfish put flour on it - and see a doctor if it doesnt go away in a few days.

first-go see a doctor also when you get stung I believe pouring vinegar on it will help stop the stinging cells pouring alcohol will make it worse so don't so that my guess is that some stinging cells got into your body and you body sealed them up to protect the body from it (it will do the same for bullets) but recently the protective lining ripped or broke and the stinging cells are back in action attacking you also, you might be allergic to jellyfish stings
