Are there any allergies to birth control?

Allergies are back? Could it be the Birth Control?

• Well I was taking the depo shot before. My allergies to animal dander seemed to have gone away. I took 3 shots, but I didn't take my last Depo shot. I was suppose to around January, and just recently my allergies to animal dander have return. This is becoming a problem for me, because I have a new inside cat I got around october, and she is pregnant, and she made her nest inside the house. So I didn't really want to have to kick my kitten outside and make her an outside cat. Is it possible that the Depo shot kept my allergies away? If so, I might talk to my doctor about going back on the shot.

  Depo-Provera is for birth control, only. Depomedrol is a steroid used for severe allergies. It boosts the immune system.
