How long should a reaction from a bee sting last?
-
I was stung on Friday afternoon on the back of my arm. It started to look like a mosquito bite a minute or two post-sting and as the days have gone on, the area looks like a red blob probably 4 times the size it started as. I removed the stinger immediately, took benadryl and put topical cortisone on with no relief. I've been taking the benadryl before bed since and it doesn't seem to be helping. It's definitely gotten worse since but has remained about the same for the past 24 hours. I am not allergic as far as I know but it's itchy as hell and I'm not sure what to do. If I should go to a doctor, what type should I go to? Thanks!
