What are some great upperbody workouts?

  • I headed into my Sophomore year of HS. I plan to do Wrestling in late November. I have never wrestled before, or am I in shape to do so. However, I have a high threshold of pain and the coach recommended me for the team. I am 15 years old, 5 ft 7 inches and weigh 102.8 pounds. I love my weight catagory. What are some good workouts for upper body strength and should I take suppliments? I'm looking for answers from wrestlers who were less than 110 pounds when they started. Weight is the biggest concern. I need to stay my weight but have upperbody strength

    You'll need to concern yourself more with cardio than strength. Wrestling takes a lot out of you. Have you tried to wrestle yet? Attempting a few matches with someone will let you know what you need to work on.
