I want to gain weight but in a healthy way, how?

Alot of my family mebers say that I'm fat and I that I need to gain weight. The problbem is that they want me to eat unhealthy food in the process such as chips, sweet bread (pastries), and burgers. I want to gain weight but in the healthy way, that way, when I gain weight, it's not fat weight that will make me unattractive. What kinds of foods and how much of it should I eat a day to gain weight in a healthy way. I want to gain weight but not FAT weight such as by eating junk food all day.

Don't increase your intake for fatty / fast food or sweets! Please! What you need to do, is increase your intake for proteins! Get them from a natural source: Boiled eggs, grilled chicken, tuna, nuts, etc.. Build muscle weight! If you really care for your weight, join a gym, because they have the best machines. You can go to GMC and take weight gainer, my boyfriend does that...he also increased how many calories he takes in in a day.

Nuts, especially almonds, are very healthy for you but high in fat calories (however it's the "good cholesterol" kind), so you'll gain weight but not in an unhealthy way if you like to snack on nuts.
