How can I stop eating so much?

  • Help! I can't stop eating, it seems as if I'm never full. I snack all throughout the day, eat meals back to back and am constantly thinking about the next time I will eat. I'm not overweight, I'm 5'8" and weigh about 140, but this is 15 lbs more than what I normally weigh because I am small boned. I'm always craving something, 99% of the time it is unhealthy. Are there any over the counter pills that will help me control my eating spree? How about prescription from the doctor? Thanks!

    1. do you eat at the table or in front of something? 2. it takes 21 days to make or break a habit 3. try and eat less day by day 4. pair certain foods with something horrible so you wont be tempted 5. find something that gets your mind off of food 6. or just keep it all locked up somewhere. and also...do not and i repeat do not take weight pills, i know someone at school who did, and it caused her stomach to bleed or something like that.

the thing to think about is eat until ur not hungry not until ur full, Many times i eat stuff because im not full. dont do that. There are millions of diet pills, but only one is FDA approved and that is Alli. But the box says that gives you oily diarrhea if you eat to much junk food, so I didn't want to try it. I too, love to snack. I am now on a diet and its been going well. I am still hungry all of the time but I chew a piece of gum and it usually helps getting over the urge to eat more snacks.

I write down what I eat like the calorie #, cause Im diabetic and cause I have the same prob as you =D If you count you can get low cal foods so you can eat more then normal and you wont have to worry about it Lose weight eat like 1600 cal per day, stay @ same 2000 Unless your really active, then its higher

i just chew sugarfree gum and oh! don't buy junk food. if it's not there, you can't get it even if you crave it stock up on fruits instead. there's so many different kinds! bananas, berries, kiwis, apples, papayas, oranges, melons, grapes... you have to like SOME of them

drink lots of water so you feel full, and eat meals at the same time every day. This way your body will become programmed. Limit snacking to two a day, and make sure you have healthy snacks available.

I dont think I would take OC pills. If you think it is really bad, you might see a doctor. This will sound weird, but its worth a try... start brushing and flossing about 5 or 6 times a day... I heard it works.

shoo, I'm 5'2 barley and I weight 220lbs and I should weight maximum of 135lbs!!!! The doc gave me some pills "to help the cravings" but it worked for s-h-i--t!!!!!
