What is water weight?

What is a good way to loose weight? Anorexia? Water Diet?

  • I am 14 and 5'2 or 5'3 ish and I weigh around 155- 160 lbs. I am ashamed, not only of my weight, but of what this is doing to my skin. I have stretch marks all along my inner thighs and on my hips and butt and even on the undersides of my arms. Its revolting and I really don't want to live like this anymore. My mom won't take me to a dermatologist to get prescription cream but I've been putting on lotion daily (when I don't forget to) to try to get rid of these. I really want to start loosing weight for one main reason, because when I get my drivers license I don't want my weight to be fat on there. I will show it off to everyone and I don't want to be fat. I don't want to be fat at all anyway.My family just joined the YMCA gym thing this week and I have worked out 3 times ranging about 2 hours each time. I am on spring break right now so I don't know how this will fit into my regular schedule. I hear bad things about anorexia a lot but it seems to get results. I am also a Hypochondriac so I feel like everything is always wrong with me. Not that many people even die from anorexia, like and I've tried to not eat but then I forget and eat anyway. I have no self control. The water diet. A while ago my family bought like this 48 pack of 1.5 liter water bottles and I literally drank those all day long. I didn't find myself hungry and I felt lighter (I wasn't at the Y then and we don't have a scale) but I don't really know if I lost any weight. If anyone has any tips please tell me and thanks for reading.

    I was super over Weight when i was about fourteen. what i did to lose weight was running a mile or two at night, not eating after six o'clock, no soda, and anaerobic exercises like sit ups and push ups and i lost fifty pound in probably three months.

I would stay far away from starving yourself because it is really bad for you. Also the water diet is not a safe thing be on. Your body needs nutrients. What I did to loose weight was just cutting out things I didn't need that I knew was bad for me such as soda. Cut foods and keep active. Start slow like taking morning and evening walks. Eat smaller meal portions get plenty of sleep. You'll start to feel better as well. Good luck.

Get your mum to help you start a diet, a proper diet! Becoming anorexic and starting the water "diet" are very bad for your health. You simply need to eat a balanced meal plan, with lots of fruit and vegetables, and work out daily. You will lose weight the healthy way! Best of luck!
