start with a 5 pound.. i can do 10-15! and i don't lift dumbbells! start with reps of 5-10, and do side lifts, keep hand at hips and SLOWLY lift to make a T hold, for a second and then slowly lower them as well as bicep curls, and do some push ups too... gradually increase repetitions per day, and push your self to do as many as you can... so start with five repetitions of ten then maybe fifteen to twenty good luck!
