Im obsessed with food/calories and my weight?, im scared of gaining weight?

im not over weight. but i am obsessed. i hate eating, i feel liking crying because i over ate today, i had 2 slim fast shakes (1 with milk, 1 with water/hot chocolate). the slim-fast with the milk was 270cals, the hot chocolate slim-fast was 130cals., than i had 1 granola bar (140 cals), 1 cup of grapes, 1 banana, 1 plum and a granola bar (140cals) 2 slim-fast shakes, one was a hot chocolate (made with water), the other was made with 1%milk. 1 plum 1 banana 1 cup of graps 1 granola bar i feel very sad because i over ate today. it's like, why do i do this to my self? tomorrow i'm going to eat less. im scared of eating because obesity runs in my family, im scared of gaining weight :(

I used to feel that way. Even though I was skinny I was still worried about that little bit of extra weight on my thighs and stomach. Instead of freaking out about that stuff I decided I was going to make it muscle. It worked wonders. I didn't worry about eating anymore. I still count calories but I'm not obsessed. I am not a work out freak either I run a little when I can I enjoy riding my bike and do a couple reps of situps. I now find my sel happier and not as worried about my weight.

How old are you? If your a teenager, who cares, teen age boys can eat all day and never get fat. But don't obsess over them. Don't read for calories, your already not over weight. Just look at the size of what your eating, eat until you feel comfortable, not stuffed, that's all that matters. But obesity can't run in the family, people get fat because they choose to eat to much.

You did not overeat today. You have an eating disorder. You need to see a dietician and a psychologist PRONTO You ate barely to survive.

I'm sorry to hear you're surrounded by obesity in the family :( It can definitely make you paranoid. 1) Obesity is NOT genetic. 2) Eating like an anorexic (at the rate you're going) is only going to make you more likely to become obese. How? Because your body starts to think it is starving, and then when you DO have to eat normal food, you will gain all that extra weight because your body is CLINGING ON TO IT. You can't stay anorexic forever because you will die, for obvious reasons. 3) The only way to be HEALTHY is to eat healthy. Not eat like an anorexic. Everyone else can eat normally and not gain weight, and SO CAN YOU. 4) If you are worried about it, you really need to join a gym or sports team - you need OTHER PEOPLE to help you. 5) Stop making it your goal to weigh so and so. Make it your goal to look good, like an athlete. THINK. ATHLETE. CHEERLEADER. GYMNAST. FOOTBALLER.

Well, your body uses a certain amount of calories per day by just resting. There's calculators on the web that can help predict the amount used. You didn't overeat at all, you need a bit more. As long as you keep active and drink a lot of water and be healthy you'll be okay. It's better if you focus on activities you like to do, though.
you didn't overeat at all.... you underate by a lot. it's best to eat however much you want and just exercise and don't eat crap food and you won't gain weight but you'll be healthy.
