What's a simple but effective ab workout that can be done at one's home?

I have a bad back also, therefore, I use an abroller. Using the abroller keeps a lot of pressure off of my back.

you can do knee lifts and that will work really good i do it all the time but i must tell you i am not all that big either. but knee lifts are the best things if you hate sit ups.
