How much should a 12-year-old girl weight?

I'm a 16 year old girl & I need to lose a lot of weight. Fast. Before summer. Can someone please help me?!?

  • I'm a 16 year old girl & I need help! I need to lose weight as fast as possible. I have a problem with sticking to losing weight. I always, every second of the day, want to lose weight, but I can never put that thought to work. I'm really poor with no mother & a father that doesn't work, so I don't have the money to go to a gym, buy the right foods, etc. I take what I got & that's not much, but if there is a fast, easy way to lose weight for my age, without the help of money, I could really use the knowledge. I really need the help. I get made fun of a lot in school by the preppy popular kids & it hurts sometimes and thats one of the reasons I have low self esteem and self confidence. It also doesn't help being made fun of because of my weight at school because I am already made fun of because of my weight at home by my brothers if not every day, every other day. I have 3 older brothers & they are all skinnier than me & it makes me feel bad. I want to be smaller by summer because my favorite kind of bathing suit is a bikini & I want to be able to wear one in front of my family or in public without people making fun of me (that's not the only reason). I'd also like a way to make my boobs smaller... if someone could help me with that. Even my own grandmother & aunt tell me I can't buy certain clothing because of my weight, & they let my cousins who are the same age as me, buy anything they want because they have a better body. Help Me Please!!!

    I'll give you the bold honest truth about how to get skinnier, but my words won't mean anything unless you put the effort. 1. Eat Healthy: Fruits, vegetables, salmon (great for dieting), oatmeal, peanut butter/almond butter sandwich (no jelly). Limit your sweets, such as candy. 2. Cardio: By cardio, I don't mean treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, etc. I mean outside running. Do 5 - 10 miles at least 5 times a week. You can run at your own pace. 3. Green Tea is a good for dieting as it boosts your metabolism. Drink one every morning. 4. Drink lots of water. 8 glass a day. 5. Abdominal exercises are vital in getting a flat and skinny stomach. V-ups, crunches, reverse crunches, leg raises, etc. Look up on youtube for more exercises. 6. Do sports!

Don't listen to anyone, focus on you. If you really want to lose weight than focus on that, do it because of you not what other people say. Try to eat healthier, which is avoiding all sugary and fried food. Exercise everyday, walk, jog, ride a bike, do track at school, play volleyball, i'm sure they have sports at your school. What ever it is eat healthier and exercise everyday for 45minutes to 1 hour. You'll start noticing the results of within a 2 week, and keep going!
