Is studying dental hygiene difficult?

Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, CRNA??? Which one should i choose?

• I graduated High School in June and i'm attending a nearby univeristy in the fall. I really want to pursue a career in the Medical Profession, i'm just confused about which one to choose. The reason i'm stressing about choosing one is because i need to sign up for classes, and alot of the classes vary according to the profession, and i don't want to take classes i end up not needing, or miss out on classes i should've taken. =/ I've done a lot of research and I've narrowed it down to a Dentist, Dental Hygienist, and a CRNA(Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist) I'm interested in all three, but i'm not sure which one to choose. I really need some advice about... what is it like to be a Dentist, Dental Hygienist, and a CRNA? the positives/negatives? what to expect? what to not expect? what it's like day to day in each of these professions? I was dedicated for Dentistry, but the fear of possibly not getting accepted to Dental School has discouraged me greatly. I would hate to spend 4 years studying my butt off for a Bachelors in Biology and apply to Dental School, then not get accepted. That would totally kill me. Any advice? The school i'm currently enrolled in also doesn't have a Dental Hygiene program(but a univeristy 30 minutes away does), but they have a Nursing program. I'm still confused about the three. =[ Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much! ^_^
