How do they take off braces?

How long does it take to take my braces off?

• So November 4th is the big day Whoo Hoo. Anyways i need to know how long it will take because i have it at 11 but normally its takes a while to get in sometimes 45 minutes depends on how far behind they are and then after i get them off i need to go eat and what not and i am wondering will it be worth going back to school (school ends at 3) Also they have taken my braces off before because they needed to because the previous ortho didnt put the braces on where he should have. So i know how it goes and what not. I remeber the sanding the glue off and i remeber that the device they used hurt my ears so badly with the high pitched noise they made. And i was wondering if i brought my ipod and listened to that would it help decrease the noise.

  you can probably bring your ipod. It will help you take your mind off the stuff the ortho people are doing. And it takes about 45 minutes- an 1 hour. It takes a lot less time coming off than they do going on.
