How long does it take after having a doctor's degree in dentistry to become a forensic dentist/odontologist?

I've done some research on the education of forensic dentist, but so far, I cannot find anything that will allow me to estimate the total amount of education of a forensic dentist. I about a few qualifications such as earning points and attending a few meetings; but other than that, I would like to know how can I get into such program? How long does it take to complete? Are there any residencies I must complete after the training?

it usually takes 12 years to become a specialist in dentistry, 8 years of regular dental school and 4 more years of specialty. other than that, i cant really tell you
