Answer:
I really don't understand... The only thing that I can think of is that your teeth are actually pretty straight, and it's over/under bite that you're getting treated. The pain that most people experience is down to the pressure being places on the teeth and gums, so if there's nearly no pressure then you're not going to feel any pain... Whenever I got a tightening, I would wait for pain and it wouldn't come, everybody (including the orthodontist) thought I was either lying or really weird... Might be something similar. If you're not getting pain now, it's not going to happen... You're so lucky!! But I'm not sure I could have survived 4 years with braces... I only had mine for 19 months. Anyway, I hope that this helps at least a tiny bit, I hope the pain never comes, good luck!!!!

if u haven't felt pain yet, u probably won't until they tighten it 2 a tension that bothers ur mouth. sometimes it takes a few tightenings before one actually is in pain. but don't worry, it'll only hurt 4 a day or 2. u know what helps with the pain, though? soda. i don't know why, but soda, like, relaxes ur gums and it really feels good. try it if ur mouth is in pain.

It depends on how much of your teeth are braced. If it's full top and bottom, it should hurt, but if it's like only the four front teeth, then it won't hurt as much. Maybe your ortho put some different kind of braces on for you?

it's not going to hurt right away. your teeth will feel the pulling soon and it wont be like pain it will be sore from the pressure. this happened to me last year, i'm thirteen :D

Maybe you have a high pain tolerance.

People are wussies. I've had mine for just over a year and it hurts sometimes, but not nearly as bad as many people say.

no the pain won't kick in unless you tighten ur braces but it doesn't hurt that much
