How can I get my teeth whiter?

  • I've tried a lot of things. I brush my teeth at least 3 times a day with Crest 3D White Toothpaste (removes up to 80% of stains,supposedly) I also have been brushing my teeth with baking soda the past couple days. (adding on to the 3 times I brush already) The problem is, everything I do doesn't work! I really like my smile, because my teeth are very straight, but I feel so self conscious about smiling with my teeth in public because of the colour. I find I always smile in pictures and edit them to make my teeth look whiter. I know, to you it might seem like I'm obsessed...but I wish I had perfect smiles like some of my friends have. I looked into getting my teeth whitened professionally, but I found out there was an age restriction, so I couldn't. Please help me! If you could recommend any products or home-made remedies I would be so grateful. 10 points to best answer :)

    there are a good number of effective products out there... the strips, trays, lights, etc. that are all reasonably effective. give one of them a shot and see if they work for you. i've had good luck with the crest white strips...

No matter what type of toothpaste you use, the one thing that many people forget is that you need a good toothbrush too! Try one of those sonic ones.

You don't state how old you are, but research says that professional whitening is safe for any age. I would recommend the tray and gel method. It is very safe and has only a very slight chance of causing any sensitivity. I think that it is better than Zoom whitening, which I believe is a gimmick. It can also cause some pretty bad sensitivity.

Yeah I got the same problem and I see over and over again friends of the same age with white teeth.But I dont know what to do neither,
