How do they take off braces?

How long will it take to have braces?

• So I have poor alignment of teeth , so my mom decided to visit a dentist and put braces on, how long . will it take to put my braces on? I mean, what do i need to have braces? How long will it take?ex . cleaning on the first day, then on the next day putting some adjustments etc. Hope you'll understand my question though it's confusing. Thanks!

  Depends. For me it took about 1 year to get my braces on. The reason why is that before having your bracing on you have to go throw all the cleaning process. First they will check if you have any cavities(tooth decay). Then they will make an appointment to make one tooth filling. The more cavities you have the more you have to wait. They can only fix one tooth cavity each month. The next process would be Cleaning hygiene. Cleaning hygiene is the removal dental plaque and tartar from teeth to prevent cavities, gingivitis,and gum disease. Next you will have an appointment with a orthodontist, where they will explain to you all the process of braces and how is going to work. They sometimes let you choose what type of braces you want. But most of the time orthodontist prefer traditional braces. But before you have braces, they will have to take a picture of your teeth before you have your braces on. Then after taking your picture. You will have another appointment for Spacers. Spacers are little rubber nodules that fit between the teeth. Spacers are placed between the molars. The spacers stay between the teeth for one to two weeks and move the teeth apart slowly until they are far apart enough so that dentists can fit a tooth brace in between them or fit an expander with metal rings(Bands). Then the next appointment you finally have your braces on.
