Do Crest Whitestrips and other teeth-whiteners like that really work?

    Yes they work but they take longer than the kind you get at the dentist (trays with bleaching gel in them.) Because it is not prescription strength, the percentage level of the bleach in the white strips is less than those from your dentist. Also, if you have any cavities in your teeth, you can damage the nerve of your tooth. You should never bleach unless your teeth have been examined by a dentist and all restorations (fillings or crowns) have been done. Be careful, also, because you can actually bleach too much, to the point of your teeth becoming opaque. When you bleach under the supervision of your dentist, he/she will monitor this along with any sensitivity.

I tried the Whitestrips, and they worked.

they work but if you have sensetive teeth like i do. they warn you to stay away from them. because they take away the protective layer that protects the teeth from extreme temps

1.) Yes they DO work 2.)They can take weeks. I'd buy 2 boxes of whatever- 1 is juuuust not quite enough. 3.) Generally less expensive then the dentist whitening 4.)Hint- if you use the strips and have crooked teeth- make sure you push the strip in there or it won't whiten the crevice, then it looks really nasty. 5.) Dont' use if you have deep cavities. (I had one on one tooth and it felt like someone was pounding a nail in my jaw) 6.)Cleared up my husbands gingivitis!

theres a paint on kind that's even better, you paint it on your teeth before bed and brush it off in the morning! much more comfortable than strips! It doesn't work as fast but it does work while you sleep, use both kinds together to reach maximum whitening level!!and get your picture perfect white ping!
