Are white strips really bad for your teeth?

Do the Crest 3D white strips advanced seal make teeth bonding fall out?

• I have a small space in my teeth that I got fixed with bonding 5 months ago. I started using the crest white strips advanced seal 2 days ago and then when I woke up this morning the bonding was gone! My dentist knows I like to use the white strips. She even specially ordered a very white color of the bonding stuff for me so I can use the white strips with out there being a big color difference between my teeth and the bonding. She told me there would be no problem if I used the white strips. She also said the bonding would last years but its only been 5 months. I'm so angry about this! It was really expensive to do this and I wouldn't have done it if I knew it would only last a few months! What can I do? Also, did the whitestrips cause this?

  Ask your dentist. I don't think the strips caused it, but it's odd that it was gone when using the strips. I have a bond on the bottom of my front tooth. I used listerine whitening stips and nothing haoened. I had the bond a couple weeks before the strips. good luck!!
