Listerine Whitening Strips?

For anyone who has used the Listerine whitening quick dissolving strips?

  • ok, so, today i bought the listerine whitening quick dissolving strips for the first time today and i just tried them, and they tasted HORRIBLE! they left a bad taste in my mouth and after they "dissolved" i had to brush my teeth cause they were goopy =/ did this happen to you?? did i just not give them enough time to dissolve? and after 2 weeks did your teeth really look whiter? thanks :)

  • Answer:

The the Listerine ones don't seem to work as good as the "Crest whiting strips" Those are the best I use them every morning and night for 2 weeks and it turned out awsome! =] They are little pricey but are well worth it! Good luck I hope I helped! http://www.whitestrips.com/whitestrips-products/whitestrips-classic-details.jsp

Those suck! I used those and the do taste really horrible!! I did the same thing, brushing my teeth after use. After that i tried aqua fresh white trays. THESE WORK GREAT!!!! The aqua fresh white trays work really well!! You might have to rinse your mouth out after but the results are worth it!

The point of whitening is to get the active ingredient to contact the teeth as long as possible.....maybe the dissolving strips are good for maintenance, but not to really whiten. A better choice would be a tray or strip method.... no paint on or dissolving strips....they just don't work!
