Is Baking Soda Good For Whitening Teeth?

Baking soda or Bi-carb soda for whitening teeth?

  • Which one? I bought bi-carb soda and benzoyl peroxide. Is this right for teeth whitening?

  • Answer:

Buy a Crest Pro Spinbrush. I bought one a week ago for $7.99 [plus tax] and my teeth are about 3 shades whiter by just using the brush and regular toothpaste. The brush has a round brush that spins on top, and a square brush that moves up and down on the bottom. Your teeth will be squeaky clean after you use it, and the stains I had on my teeth are almost gone, and like I said my teeth are about 3 shades whiter in only a week.

Baking Soda and bi-carb are actually two different names for the same thing. So whichever you use, it will have the same effect. By wetting your toothbrush and dipping it into the powder and brushing your teeth with it, you will see a notable whitening after only one or two uses. But I beg of you: please, please, please, do not use this as an ongoing treatment. The bicarb eats through your tooth enamel, leaving you susceptible to serious tooth decay. By interspersing the bicarb treatment with a fluoride gel or rinse you can lessen the damage the bicarb does to your enamel as fluoride helps your teeth repair the enamel. Hope your teeth get whiter (but still healthy) and your smile brighter! Alex

You can use bi-carb even all these help in whitening. Lemon juice, baking soda or baking powder can also be used for teeth whitening. Rubbing the bark of walnut tree brightens the teeth. Strawberries are natural teeth whiteners, simply rub them directly on your teeth or mash into a paste and apply. Apple cider vinegar can also be used for teeth whitening.More remedies and information regarding your teeth at http://useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/

Dip your toothbrush with the toothpaste on it into the bicarb. It works wonders.
