    Yeah if you don't mind breathing in people's oral un-hygiene meth-mouth stench all day long. I personally couldn't do it.

What country are you in because in the US dental hygienists used to be called dental nurses. There are no dental nurses in the USA. There are only assistants and hygienists. Anyway NO dental hygiene is NOT a good field in the US right now because there are very few jobs hiring and most jobs are part time not full time. And these jobs come with no benefits (not even health insurance). If you are in the USA do not become a dental hygienist.
