Can you get veneers if you have crooked teeth?

Can I get veneers if I have a crown on one of my teeth that I want to put a veneer over?

  • I have a crown on my front tooth, and a small space next to the tooth,I am considering veneers but am unsure if I am able to put the veneer over the crown.

  • Answer:

You can have a veneer on the natural tooth but the tooth that is crowned will have to have a new porcelain crown made, as a veneer will not adhere to a crown. The cost would be pretty much the same.
