I am getting braces tomorrow will it hurt and i have to go to cheerleading practice after school what do i do?

i got my braces in november. i thought my mouth would be extremely sore...but they werent..the just felt weird. you get used to them after a while. they didnt hurt me. when i got my bottom ones they were a little sore...so i drank milkshakes. =) dont worry about it. go to practice and have a good time!!! dont forget to smile!

I am having braces in 3-4 months. I do not know weather its hurt cause like i said im having them in 3-4 months but people say you get the colour on the rubber bands you don't you get it on the brace. I have been looking at colours and i think i am going to get teal and pink it looks really nice. If i was you i would get 2 teal on the front then pink either side and so on so forth.

Definitely tell the coach or another adult that you just had braces put on that day. It hurts the first few days but more important is that you may not want to overexert yourself right afterward. If you feel up to it, at least let an adult know.

It doesn't hurt to get colors. Actually, it kind of does. It feels like a slight tug on your teeth. Nothing major. Mine didn't hurt until the next day.

You have to get colors (or the white stuff whick costs extra). Braces do not hurt.

Just take some tylenol or advil. Your mouth may be sore, but it won't be that bad! Make sure you get some extra wax!
