Does it hurt to have a permanent retainer removed?

How much does it cost to get wisdom teeth surgically removed? i have insurance&live in michigan?

  • My 2 bottoms wisdom teeth have been growing in, one has grown in only half way and hasnt grown in a few months, my other one has been growing and hurting so badly i can barely eat for a week! My top 2 havent grown yet..but im 16 and i have insurance. I have a few questions: how much will all 4 cost to get removed?, how long will it hurt for?, how long will i not be able to eat for?, also ive heard from everyone i know that you get them out before they grow in..thats true right? Because i do believe my dentist said that also. My bottom teeth have been overlapping because of my wisdom teeh growing in and my mom thinks that it'll go back to normal after getting them out, wont i need a retainer or braces because there now overlapping? My mom also said im suppose to wait for ALL of them to grow in then get them out...but this pain hurts so bad idk how much more i can take! Please help! ANY OTHER INFO ABOUT THIS WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Just a heads up,you may not want them to give you the drug called Versed ( Midazolam ) In fact, many people who use Versed for " IV Sedation,Conscious Sedation" during a procedure are awake for the entire procedure but remember nothing, often believing they were "out" the whole time. Versed (Midazolam) is an amnestic. It is commonly administered in combination with anesthesia before and during surgery. It is also commonly used for minor procedures like colonoscopies dental procedures like extractions, conscious sedation, twilight sleep, so that patients won't remember pain and discomfort.HOWEVER THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THOSE SENSATIONS WILL NOT BE EXPERIENCED!!!!Forgetting does no mean it did not happen!! Amnesia does NOT take place for some patients. IT'S NOT MY INTENTION FOR YOU TO NOT GET THE PROCEDURE DONE, JUST INFORMING YOU THAT YOU MAY WANT IT DONE WITH ANOTHER DRUG!!!!! Here is a note from a Dentist about Versed I've used Versed 1000+ times during oral surgery procedures and I've never had a complaint. It's a miracle drug because it is safe and it causes you to not remember an unpleasant experience. My answer to him is isn't it better to have not experienced the pain than to have forgot it. No wonder you have had no complaints you gave them amnesia!!
