Answer:
in your case it sounds like you need to see a dentist to have the calculus (tartar) cleaned away from the gum line, you will only get this calculus off your teeth by a dentist either by ultrasonic cleaning or hand scaling. your dentist will be able to see how bad your gums are, ginivitis can get better with good oral hygiene. Periodontal disease will need more specialist help. Look in the mirror... Do your gums look red and puffy? healthy gums should look pink and stippled like orange skin. if they are red you need oral hygiene improvement. Toothbrushing with a flouride toothpaste, placing the toothbrush at a 45 degree angle towards the gum margin and brush back and forth making sure the bristles are sweeping the base of the tooth along the gum. dont press too hard, hold it as you do a pencil, then with a sweeping movement sweep down the tooth. Take your time it takes a long time to break old habits. make sure you do every tooth, this should take 2 mins min. this needs to be done morning and night. Flossing everyday is best as your toothbrush cannot clean all surface's of your teeth. wrap the floss around your middle fingers and using your index fingers guide the floss gently down the gaps where the teeth meet slide it gently up and down the tooth and then pull out, move up the floss and do the next gap etc. A flouride mouthwash is a good idea as well, but for the next 14 days i would reccommend a mouthwash such as corsodyl, it is a great disinfectant... do not use longer than 14 days as it is very strong and can stain your teeth. You can also buy disclosing tablets from the dentist. these are great to show up all the areas in your mouth that you may be missing. chew one tablet and rinse the plaque will show up in colour on your teeth (usually blue or red) and you can brush it away. If you cannot get along with floss you can try the interdental brushes to clean between your teeth. A good healthy diet is advisable aswell no coke! limit sweets, sugars and citrus as these can harm teeth in quantity. i hope this has helped.

There is a simple solution to your problem and it really works, but you also need to improve your nutrition to fix the underlying problems. Gum disease is not normal. It happens when you are nutrient deficient. You can stop the bleeding in one day and if you continue applying the material described below will fix "pockets" up to number 10 within a month or so by doing the following: From this web site order: www.healthline.cc (not .com) Neem Oil Pine Bark extract Mix the two items above in a small area and apply to all your gums at night before bed and after you brush in the morning. After the first application, the next day, you should not have any more bleeding. Continue this for about 2 months to get rid of the pockets or gum disease. Be sure to floss when you brush. Good luck to you. This works like a miracle.

Very Simple, Seek professional help, visit a dentist. Bleeding gums during brushing is a sign of gingivitis or in laymans term inflamed gums around that area or it could be deficiency in Vit C. If its not deficiency in Vit C, then it's Gingivitis. Causes of inflamed gums is because of the tartar that accumulates around the teeth. And it is the one causing the inflammation of your gums causing it to bleed. The treatment is to have the tartart removed by the dentist. You need to have every six months oral prophylaxis or oral cleaning to prevent your gums to accumulate those food debris, plaque and tartar. Brushing alone is not enough. having the right toothpaste or toothbrush is not enough because there are areas in our teeth that brushing alone can't reach or remove it. Bleeding gums also cause badbreath. And worst, tartar build up not only cause inflamed gums, it can also leads to serious outcome of periodontitis, this is where the supporting tissues of your teeth are destroyed and infected...worst scenario, Pyorrhea or the result of mobile teeth to a point that it cant be save anymore and the treatment is already pulling it out. Before it leads to this, have it check treated by the dentist. Remember, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Don't be misled to the issue, that it's only bleeding gums or gingivitis. The hard part in this kind of condition, is that it is painless for a start, but after when you feel there pain already involve, its too late to have it corrected. Periodontal disease is not a reversable condition unlike having dental caries.tooth with caries can be filled and be good as new, but when its periodontal problem, its only main aim is to prolong the use of the tooth specially when it's already mobile. Remember, It all started with gingivitis only.

Sounds like you have the start of gum disease which could be as a result from the build up of tartar. Make sure you not only clean your teeth properly, but floss also and you could try Corsodyl or Retardex mouthwashes. I know some dentists don't recommend mouthwashes always despite all the advs, but these two do help to treat gum disease. However you should go to a dentist because they know best and if you were to leave it gum disease could lead to you losing teeth.

You should see a Dentist, this could be the signs of something more serious but until you do, brushing, flossing.massaging the gums with a rubber tip massager or Water Pik, and swishing some warm water and salt can help strengthen your gums. You may also need a professional cleaning every three months instead of the usual 6 month recommendation.

Maybe you are brushing to hard. You need to see a dentist immediately as if its dental disease the longer you leave it the worse it will become.

Go to the dentist, but first start flossing everyday. It will make an amazing difference; your gums will soon stop bleeding.
