Is my Listerine Whitening strips OK to use after the use by date?
-
I got my Listerine strips a while back, thinking that it would be expired around 11/08. I reread yesterday and it on the bottom of the box, it printed USE BY 09/2008. Is it safe for me to finish using all the strips in 1-2 weeks (haven't really started yet) or should I toss them out?

Answer:
They should still be fine. If anything they would just be less effective after the expiration date, not dangerous. The hydrogen peroxide in them will break down into water.
