Can a dentist x-ray cause any loss of baby?

Answer:
It is EXTREMELY unlikely, assuming of course they put a lead vest on you, but really, they are required to do that no matter what. It is more dangerous to the baby if it is irradiated in the first trimester, the earlier in the pregnancy, the worse. However, since you are wearing a vest and dental x-rays are fairly low energy, you would have to have an x-ray scatter off an atom into the direction of your uterus, be a high enough energy to surpass everything between your mouth and your uterus, and then scatter off some vital part of your fetus, causing it to not develop correctly, and thus die. Seeing how detailed my last description was, I doubt it. I VERY highly doubt it. But it's not impossible. But neither is me becoming a singing astronaut.
