What is the best salary for a fresh MBA/ Sales?

To Dental Lab Techs in Chicago Area: What's the average starting salary for an RG and for a CDT w/ less than 5?

• What's the average starting salary for an RG and for a CDT w/ less than 5 years experience? I just completed 1 of 4 semesters in an accredited DLT program. I have an MBA, but don't want be a lab owner. I would like to be a lab manager to use my MBA and make more money, but how much experience do I need to be promoted to a lab manager from the start? I'm also thinking about getting out of DLT school and into Dental Sales because Dental sales make 3-5 times more money in the long-run. What do you think I should do? Thanks!

  i would suspect somewhere in the mid 40K range. There is a lot of work in that area because of the Navy and VA presence, so you may be able to command a higher salary. You may make more money in sales, but make sure you keep your skills up. There will always be a need to lab work, but sales forces will be cut before techs in an economic down swing. .
