How to become a Dental Hygienist?

  • I want to get a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene but am unable to for the next three years because my husband is in the Army, so we will be moving around a lot. Plus, there is not a Dental Hygiene school in our current location. But, I want to start my education now, I just don't know what degree I should get, and it has to be online. (Because we will be moving) I would love to get a bachelors degree in something before I try for Dental Hygiene school. Any suggestions as to what degree to get to possibly prepare?

    Do online courses to start, then you can transfer to a full time school. Talk to your post resources centers for help, lots of others facing the same challenges.

for a couple of years, most courses are general education for any Bachelor's degree. so you can pretty much study anything you want for a while. I don't think a degree is required for dental hygienist.
