Is it easier to get into a nursing program or a dental hygiene program.?
-
I will be applying to schools in Texas. Which do you suggest is a better career? I was leaning towards dental hygiene; it seems like it would be less stressful. How hard is it to get accepted? Also, if you get licensed as a hygienist what do you have to do if you want to move to a different state and continue practicing.

Answer:
Being a hygienist is less stressful has better working hours, and pays about the same. It may be a bit harder to get accepted because there are less schools. There are regional boards that will allow you much flexibility with moving and being licensed. Good luck on your choice.
